Having recently returned from a vacation in Europe, I thought I'd throw a bunch of links together in something resembling a useful form.

If you'd like to see, I put a few of the pictures that I took here.   My notes (and eventually, pictures) from my trip this year are here.

Because we had such a good time in Italy, a friend of mine and I are looking into the possibilities of renting a villa in Tuscany for a while, but with the prices I've seen, I'm not sure if that'll work.

What we've found is:

• Villas for rent, for Italy, Spain, et alia
• Elite Vacations
• International Vacation Homes, Inc.

There're a few there, but awfully pricy.  I've also dug up a few places promising cheaper travel.  Here they are:

• Budget Travel
• Eurail.  If you want to see Europe, and don't have a lot of money, rail is the way to go.
• Eurotrip Discussion Boards, which allow people looking for cheap trips to talk to each other.  I found some of the other links on this page from this site.
• Farebusters.  I've never dealt with them, and have heard mixed reviews of them.  Still, it might be worth a try.
• Rail Europe.   Did I mention that rail is a really good way to see Europe?
• National Registration Center for Study Abroad, which is a cross between vacation and study, but sounds really cool.

I'll see about putting some more stuff here in the future, but I think this is good for now.
