Computing
The Science Center hosts considerable computing resources for
the Harvard Community. We are the home of the FAS computer network,
as well as three computer labs. Computer kiosks can be found in
our lobby, where users can easily check their email and browse
the Web.

FAS Computer Services
a.k.a. HASCS
-
FAS Computer Services is the backbone organization of computing
at the Science Center. They administer the FAS network and servers,
provide user support for users in the Science Center, Harvard Yard
dormatories, and other non-departmental buildings on the campus.
If you are a user on the FAS network, it's a good idea to check
their website regularly for announcements regarding network
downtimes, viruses, and free software security updates. Their
user-assistants can be found in room SC B-13, which is inside
room SC B-14 at the bottom of the atrium staircase in the lobby.

Instructional Computing Group
-
ICG has become an important asset in today's educational
environment, which is increasingly multimedia and
computer-oriented. They provide training and consulting for
instructional staff, and handle the posting of lecture video
footage on the Web.
-
Technology Products Center
-
The Technology Products Center has recently opened in the basement,
in room SC B-10. Here you can buy some nice technology products or
have your computer repaired.
