• Developed develop testing methodologies and write test plans for QoS and other value added features for DOCSIS 1.0 and 1.1 CMTS and CM network devices
• Tested RIP and OSPF routing implementations for C4. Helped debug issues down to the protocol layer through the use of various network analyzers and other routing implementations
• Ensured routing implementations conformed with specifications and interoperability testing
• Evaluated new product technologies to assist in time to market and integrated them into testing environmnets
• Local administration of the QA testing lab's network setup and support for its backbone router connection to the enterprise network core
• Installation, setup, and administration of local UNIX systems (Solaris, FreeBSD, Linux)
• Setup and maintain multicast multimedia streaming servers for purposes of testing multicast traffic and streaming media services in a DOCSIS environment using QuickTime and Windows Media Services
• Setup and create a website for team collaboration using Zope on the backend.
• Identify and build tools for automating parts of the process of testing for large scale DOCSIS testbed
• Wrote shell and Tcl scripts to help with test execution setup and test results analysis
